Notable rivers of Baghaichari, Kachalong, Shijak, Gangargam and Machalong rivers. Baghaichari is divided between Kachalong river. Kachalong originates in the hill areas of Tripura and Mizoram states of India. The length of the Kachalong river is about 146 kilometers. It is flowing through Baghaichari, Langdu, Borkal, Rangamati Sadar, Kaptai and Karnafuli. At one time this river was the main medium of communication in Baghaichari upazila. People and goods are transported and transported from one place to another through a limited route on a limited scale. Currently, this farming is done by the water of the Kachalong river.
